Job Description
Leveraging your digital design experience, you will help create engaging content that genuinely resonates with our customers through email, animated gifs, video, social media & site. As a digital designer you’ll have the opportunity to make a direct impact on concept ideation and development of the Mixbook brand voice and design. You will captivate Mixbook customers to create, connect and empower our customers to tell their stories, their way.

In this role, you’ll need …
- This role has a heavy emphasis on paid media, social media design and animation
- You will be a partner and collaborator to the Creative, Social, and Performance Marketing teams.
- Attract and engage consumers by creating compelling dynamic content that enhances the brand
- Develop creative storytelling concepts and design solutions for consumer marketing
- Support the social & marketing team to drive creative content testing to learn what resonates with consumers
- Execute and deliver pixel-perfected animated & static designs
- Design, resize, and manage digital ads across multiple platforms
- Create new, unique and dedicated content for campaigns, product launches, promotions, events, and other brand initiatives
- Present and communicate concepts, and implement constructive critiques effectively.
- Grow a deep understanding for our visual expressions of Mixbook brand
- Be a fierce advocate for the brand experience, and help us ensure consistency and quality across all channels
- Proactively seek necessary information on project requirements to ensure clarity & alignment on timelines, deliverables, stakeholders, and hand-offs
- Understand and troubleshoot brand elements as they relate to digital design
- Maintain best practices for web, digital, illustration, photography and video
What You’ll Need
- 4+ years of digital graphic design experience with an undergraduate degree in design-related field
- 2+ years in the social media and/or consumer industry
- Experience in creating GIFs, video, animation and motion graphics
- Experience in integrated omnichannel marketing (paid, social, email, web)
- Extreme attention to detail, including top-notch organizing and multitasking skills to meet tight deadlines, handle multiple projects and prioritize accordingly
- Highly collaborative with an excellent work ethic to produce deliverables with speed and humility in a fast-paced environment
- A portfolio of prior work is required for consideration
- Strong communication skills, including ability to empathize with vastly different cross-functional teams from sales to marketing
- Mastery of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Adobe After Effects, and Animate
- Knowledge of photography retouching required
- Working knowledge of Sketch and Figma are a big plus
